Fly-ins/Fly-outs

March 7 Craig Field is hosting a fly-in & requesting antique aircraft to be on static display. This is a great facility for easy flight (or drive) & all we need is some typical Spring weather!
Also - Saturday the 20th let's meet at the clubhouse & pick a north or south destination! 9-10 AM OK?

During our general meeting today, we discussed planning a northerly and southerly destination for each flyout, to accommodate possible weather conditions. This flyout would follow the program after our March monthly meeting.

We have tentatively set each Saturday as a flyout day. If you would like to fly on Saturday, March 7th, let us know by replying to this topic. If you have a suggestion for a north or south destination, let us know.

Have a favorite on-field (or near-field) restaurant? Know of an event happening that we can fly to? Let us know. This is YOUR aviation community. We look forward to your input!

During our general meeting this weekend, a "Wheels and Wings" car show (Model A's and Model T's) and aviation static display was mentioned. Dave Marco (Sizzlin' Liz - P51) is involved in this event.

Very little details are known right now. If you have more information about it, please post it here...it sure would make a great (short) fly-out destination! If you have an alternate, let us know.

March 7, fly or drive to CRG and see classic aircraft and classic cars at David Marco's hangar. Bar-B-Que starts at 11AM. Call Noel Dana if you have an intersting aircraft to display:904-724-5358
