Flyout - November 6th - 3FL0 - Mount Royal Airport

I know Nov 6th is a long time off but while I was at the GREAT fly-in in SGJ Saturday Susan was at a Mt Royal
Airpark Board meeting and the decision was made to have an event here on 11/06. Says we are going all out and
inviting a couple of EAA chapters as well as the SGA pilots association and the friends of the airport group.

Food should be good as it is being catered and not cooked by me.

Subject: Mt Royal Fly-in Next Saturday Nov 6th

Hi everyone,

Next Saturday Nov 6th is the First Annual Mt Royal Fly-In. Please tell all your club members and bring/fly your friends to the event. We are going all out to make this a success and most of the neighborhood is involved to make you feel welcome.

The day will start for guests at 10:30 AM and lunch will be served at appx 12:15. There will be a sign in sheet, a 50/50 drawing and tours available for any who wish to tour the "hood."

Mt Royal Airpark is a private community in South Putnam Co. 5 miles north of Lake George. The property sits on approx 160 acres with the South border wraping around the St Johns River. Airpark owners have access to 2 lots on the river with attached boat docks, a boat ramp, picnic area and a paved lighted 3000 X 52 runway with a VASI for those landing on runway 8. There are 18 or so unsold lots out of 159 that were origionally available as well as some "for sale" prev occupied houses both on the river and throughout the community.

The no wind runway for the 6th will be RW 8. Mt Royal identifer is 3FL0 (3FLzero). You should make radio calls on Freq 123.05 with left traffic. Aircraft parkers will monitor 123.05 and direct arrivals upon landing.

By car from the north go south on Hwy 17 to Satsuma rt on SR309 (the only lite in Satsuma) 8 miles to Welaka (another lite) continue 3 mi so of Welaka to Gates Ferry Rd right 1 mile then you're in.

From the south HWY 17 to Crescent City left SR308 about 8 mi road ends at stop sign, turn rt 1 mile to Gates Ferry Rd turn rt 1 mile and you are in.
