Radio Removal
Hi!
I just purchased a 1959 C172 that has a NARCO 12D digital nav/com.
I am trying to remove it from the panel to send it in for work.
Does anyone know how to get it out?
I have talked to the NARCO folks but am having no success in removing it.
Thanks,
Jack Thompson

You want it out to service it? Or to create a coffee table conversation piece? It is either a straight blade srew driver or an allen head and may require removal of knobs and face plate. Next time you're out at the airport give me a call at Galaxy (michael) and I'll give you a hand.
