That's almost impossible to answer as it depends on the plane and the condition the owner keeps the plane in. If you have the time and the mechanical aptitude you may want to consider an owner assisted inspection. It will teach you so much and really get you in touch with your machine.

A typical fix gear, single engine aircraft such as a PA28-161 or Cessna 182 Annual Inspection should not cost more than $850. However, this month we are running a special at Valiant Aviation Maintenance where the cost is reduced to between $500-$650 for the Annual Inspection.
